Dwellio

Privacy notice

Pre-launch draft. Operator contact details, retention periods and privacy review must be completed before live bookings open.

Information used to run a job

Dwellio uses account/contact details, job addresses, descriptions, photos, messages and payment references to arrange and support household services. Providers also supply business identity, ABN, service capabilities and insurance documentation.

Optional account details

You may add a profile photo and date of birth in Account settings. These are private account details, not included in job details or AI assessments. You can remove them from your profile in Account settings. Saved cards are held by Stripe; Dwellio displays only the card brand, last four digits and expiry so you can manage them.

Photos and AI assessment

When you consent to AI assessment, relevant job descriptions and photos are sent to OpenAI to identify the task and missing information. Avoid including people, identity documents or unrelated private information in job photos. The final amount is calculated by Dwellio’s pricing rules.

Maps and location

Geoapify provides address and suburb search. Google Maps provides maps and road travel estimates and receives the location coordinates needed to provide those features. Google processes information under its Privacy Policy.

With device location permission, a provider can share their location for an active assigned visit. The customer and authorised administrators may view that location; other providers cannot view it. Sharing access ends when the assignment is released or the visit is completed. You can revoke device location permission in your device settings. Without fresh location, live tracking and automatic arrival confirmation may be unavailable.

Dwellio retains its own visit location records and scheduling commitments as needed to run the job. Google road estimates are displayed for the current visit session and are not retained as a reusable route history.

Provider identity and police checks

When your Earn application requires identity verification, Dwellio uses Stripe Identity to verify you as an individual using a photo ID and matching selfie. On supported mobile devices, the check opens inside Dwellio using Stripe's native verification screen; on the web, it opens in Stripe's hosted verification flow. Dwellio pays for this check. It is separate from Stripe payout onboarding.

Stripe collects and processes your identity documents, facial images and other information needed for verification, including device information and fraud signals. Dwellio receives the verification status and verified name and date of birth so an authorised administrator can compare your identity with your police check. Dwellio does not copy the Stripe ID or selfie images into its application storage. Stripe also uses verification information to operate and improve its services and prevent fraud; any additional biometric-improvement consent is handled by Stripe. Read Stripe's privacy policy before continuing.

During the current rollout, you upload your police-check document directly to Dwellio. This is an applicant-supplied document, not a report received directly from National Crime Check (NCC). Dwellio stores the upload privately with your application and document history for authorised administrative review. The reviewer checks that it belongs to the same person and assesses suitability before approving your application. Existing applications may continue to use Dwellio's earlier document-review process. Completing identity verification or uploading a document does not automatically approve an application.

NCC's API check is not enabled in this rollout. If it is enabled for future applications, NCC will collect the required personal details, identification and consent in its hosted application. Applicants will pay NCC directly at the price shown there, and NCC will share the result and report with Dwellio for authorised provider assessment. Its privacy policy will apply to that check.

For that future NCC integration, the planned retention period for Dwellio's private report copy is 90 days from NCC's release date, subject to agreed terms and privacy review before activation. The planned process ends report access at that deadline, deletes the report and retains a minimal record of its source, verification status and review decision. This 90-day period does not apply to applicant-uploaded police checks or earlier documents, which are retained with the application and document history as needed to manage the provider account and applicable obligations. A retention period does not establish how long a police check remains current.

Use the app's support function to request access, correction or deletion of verification information, or if you cannot complete a check. Correcting a verified personal identity requires a new verification attempt before a new approval. Dwellio can request redaction of its Stripe verification records where applicable. Stripe handles requests about information it retains and withdrawal of optional biometric consent through Stripe Support.

Payments

Stripe handles card details and provider payment onboarding; Dwellio stores transaction references and amounts.

Storage and notifications

Supabase stores application records and private media. Firebase provides device notifications and, when enabled, crash reporting. Resend delivers account and service emails. Third-party processing may occur outside Australia.

Access and account requests

Use the app’s support function to request access, correction or account deletion. Some transaction and incident records may need to be retained for applicable obligations and unresolved claims. Job photos are private and access is limited to the relevant job participants and authorised administrators.

This draft must be reviewed against the final deployed configuration.
